It is not completely a chance if the tooth n° 2 of Doué-la-Fontaine (in Anjou) is bigger than those of Savigné (n° 1). We indeed note an increase in the size of the sharks' teeth between both deposits, separated from some million years (Langhian stage for the most ancient at Savigné, Serravallian stage for the most recent at Doué). More precisions on these stages in the page of comments on the faluns.
