The precise determination of the fishes' vertebras is reserved for the specialists and is made, either by study of the lateral holes' shape, either by vertebra's radiography. Statistically, there's more chance than vertebras presented here belong to teleosteans (osseous fishes) rather than to selachians (sharks, rays) which have a cartilaginous skeleton, rarely preserved. The sample n° 2 is a last caudal vertebra.
